Join Our Team: Disability Support Worker

Are you passionate about making a positive difference in the lives of individuals with disabilities? We're seeking a compassionate, skilled Disability Support Worker to provide high-quality, person-centred support to our NDIS participants. Help empower individuals to participate in social, community, and recreational activities while supporting daily living needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide personal care and support with daily living activities
  • Assist with community access and participation in desired activities
  • Maintain dignity, privacy, and respect in all interactions
  • Ensure the rights of individuals are upheld and support them in achieving independence
  • Complete required documentation and reports in line with policies

Essential Requirements:

  • Certificate III in Disability, Community Services, or related field
  • Confidence managing participants with challenging behaviours
  • Physically fit, able to keep up with active participants
  • Experience providing direct service to individuals with disabilities
  • Strong communication skills and a commitment to person-centred care
  • Flexible work hours, valid driver’s license, and own car with comprehensive insurance
  • Current First Aid certificate (or willingness to obtain)
  • Valid Working with Children Check and National Criminal Records History Check

Desirable Skills:

  • Knowledge of issues affecting people with disabilities and the ageing population
  • Computer literacy and fluency in a second language
