Join Our Team: Policy and Grants Officer

We’re looking for a dynamic Policy and Grants Officer to help shape policies, ensure compliance with industry standards, and secure funding for essential services in child protection, family services, and NDIS programs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and review policies to align with legislative requirements and best practices.
  • Lead consultations to gather feedback and ensure policies are effective.
  • Stay updated on changes in relevant laws and regulations.
  • Identify and secure grant opportunities, preparing high-quality applications and reports.
  • Maintain accurate records and ensure timely reporting of grant activities.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Tertiary degree in social sciences, policy, or a related field.
  • Experience in policy development and grant writing.
  • Strong research, analysis, and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage projects independently and meet deadlines.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Suite and document management systems.

Desirable:

  • Experience with NSW Child Safe Standards and NDIS Practice Standards.
  • Experience in Out-of-Home Care or family services.
  • Familiarity with working with diverse communities.

Requirements:

  • Current Criminal History Check, NSW Working with Children Check, and Driver’s License.
