Job Opportunity: 

Are you passionate about achieving better outcomes for children and young people in out-of-home care? We’re looking for a Quality and Practice Specialist – Permanency and Child Protection to bring leadership, insight, and a commitment to excellence to our dedicated Quality, Risk and Practice team.

In this impactful role, you will:

  • Provide expert consultation on complex child protection and permanency planning matters
  • Support staff through coaching, supervision, and reflective practice
  • Drive service quality, ensure compliance, and champion best practice
  • Build strong internal and external partnerships to improve outcomes for children and families

What you bring:

  • 5+ years in leadership within OOHC, child protection, or family services
  • A degree in social work, psychology, or related field
  • Deep understanding of child development, trauma-informed care, and NSW Child Safe Standards for Permanent Care
  • A commitment to cultural safety and inclusive practice
  • A proactive, collaborative approach and strong communication skills

Additional Requirements:

  • Current Criminal History Check and NSW Working with Children Check.
  • Valid NSW Driver’s License.
