At C&K, our purpose is to make a positive impact on children’s lives. It’s what we’ve been doing for more than 115 years. Through evidence-based thinking, hard work and true compassion, we’ve built a trusted reputation as Queensland’s leading provider of early childhood education. And as a child safe organisation, we put children's safety and wellbeing at the heart of everything we do, creating nurturing spaces where children can learn, explore, play and grow.
This is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to contribute significantly to research that could shape the future of the early childhood sector in Australia.
As our respected Administration Assistant at C&K Dixon Street Early Years Centre, you’ll play a vital role in ensuring our centre operates smoothly by assisting with an array of administrative and financial tasks. You will be a part of a strong collaborative team culture where everyone can belong, grow and thrive.
C&K Dixon St Early Years Centre is research childcare centre offering an intensive Early Childhood Education and Care program. It aims to address a critical gap in Australia’s early childhood education and care system, which is currently not set up to adequately support children living with severe levels of family stress and social disadvantage.
The objective of the intensive early childhood education and care program is that children living with significant adversity will experience a stable and enriching early learning and care program and enter school as confident and successful learners who are developmentally equal to their peers.
It is an exemplar model which aligns with C&K’s strategic priorities and the standards and values that are most dear to us as an organisation. The C&K Dixon Street Early Years Centre is one of three research sites in Australia and will be supported through coaching, mentoring and professional development from the Parkville Institute.
Working with team of qualified teachers, educators, and an infant mental health consultant you will contribute to an early learning environment that is safe, inclusive, and responsive to the needs of children, families, and educators.
Every C&K career helps children belong and grow. We’ll set you up for success with a range of benefits, programs and opportunities to help you earn, be well and grow.
If you’re committed to guiding children’s early learning and development, we’ll set you up for success.
We strongly uphold our child safety policies and procedures.
To thrive and succeed in this role, you will have:
We would also love you to have experience in a similar administration role. Any experience in the early childhood sector or a qualification in business administration would be great, but not essential.
Join us and find a better way with C&K - for children, for you, for always.
C&K is a child-safe organisation and all C&K employees are required to undergo a police check and not be a ‘Restricted Person’ or Suspended Educator under the QLD Blue Card System.
We welcome applicants who identify as an Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander, have a Culturally and /or Linguistically Diverse background and/or those with additional needs.
