About the role:

At C&K Newmarket Community Childcare Centre which is located North of Brisbane, are seeking a qualified and experienced Group Leader to join the Centre. The successful educator will pride themselves on their mentoring ability and have a passion for working closely with educators within the learning environment. We are looking for someone with exceptional relationship skills with families, children and other educators.

• Part Time - Permanent - 16 hours a week
• 8 hours every Thursday and Friday
• Opportunity to join the relief list and work casual across services
• Commencing 11th January 2021

Ideal applicants will have:

• Diploma in Children's Services (or equivalent qualification)
• Hold a current blue card (or willing to obtain)
• Current first aid/CPR including asthma and anaphylaxis
• Previous experience in a similar role is essential
• An understanding of the provision of a safe, well planned indoor and outdoor learning environment
• An ability to document observations of children's behaviour and development
• An ability to implement a planned program, ensuring the needs of individual children and the group are met
