Exciting opportunity to join UNSW Faculty of Law & Justice! Based in Kensington NSW, Law & Justice at UNSW emphasises the social relevance and impact of rigorous research and teaching. The Faculty Careers Advisor is responsible for assisting the Faculty Careers Manager in delivering best practise career services for Law Undergraduate (UG), and Postgraduate (PG) students, as well as Criminal Justice students. This entails connecting students with industry partners, alumni, academics and community organisations in order to provide opportunities that enhance their understanding of, and readiness for the job market.
The Career Advisor will provide one-on-one career consultations to students, as well as perform administrative tasks such as responding to student enquiries and assisting with the delivery of workshops and employer presentations to students. Other ad hoc projects may include developing resources, conducting industry and market research, relationship management and communications support.
The role of Faculty Careers Advisor reports to the Faculty Careers Manager, Kristy Ryan.
