As part of a high functioning and diverse team who values working together and provide support to each other, you will work with offenders, to create strategies, and monitor long and short- term goals. You will also apply various methods to monitor offenders’ compliance and conduct home visits. We provide great working conditions with strong work culture focus and staff engagement activities.
Successful candidates will be mandated to undertake a four-week, in-person training program at our Brush Farm Academy as an integral component of the Certificate IV in Correctional Practice curriculum.
Community Corrections Officers are trained to provide case management for offenders being supervised on community-based orders such as Parole Orders, Intensive Corrections Orders and Community Corrections Orders and work with offenders in custody to prepare for their release into the community on parole.
