About the Role

As the Opportunity Hub Leader, you will spearhead a team of dedicated professionals delivering innovative programs and services that foster personal responsibility, participation, and empowerment. From improving education and employment outcomes to enhancing financial management and community well-being, your leadership will create a legacy. This full-time, community-based role offers the chance to work directly with the vibrant communities of Cape York, with a competitive salary package including free accommodation and remote living allowances.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee a high-performing team, promoting excellence and continuous improvement.
  • Develop community-specific strategies, set performance targets, and collaborate with key stakeholders to align with the Pama Futures vision
  • Promote Opportunity Hub initiatives, organise key events, and foster partnerships with local organisations to strengthen community ties.
  • Manage assets, facilities, and logistics, ensuring seamless operations and adherence to safety standards.
  • Prepare detailed reports on program milestones, community impact, and organisational objectives.

What We’re Looking For

  • Strong leadership experience, particularly in team and community settings.
  • Knowledge of Cape York’s people, culture, and environment.
  • Proven ability to build strategic partnerships and navigate complex issues with innovation and diplomacy.
  • A valid driver’s license and willingness to travel across Cape York communities.
  • Experience in social and economic development or behaviour change initiatives.
