We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Marketing Assistant to join our team. The successful candidate will be available to work 3 or 4 days a week, one of these being a Wednesday.

We are looking for a candidate with a minimum of three years in marketing.

Deaf Children Australia is a national charity supporting Deaf and Hard of Hearing children and their families. We have been in existence for over 160 years and are passionate about our impact!

About the role

The Marketing Assistant supports the Deaf Children Australia’s Marketing department by performing a variety of tasks, including:

• Planning and executing events
• Assisting with the creation and launch of campaigns, such as email campaigns, social media campaigns, and advertising campaigns
• Following up with attendees and leads
• Handling administrative tasks, such as managing customer orders and providing customer service
• Ensuring promotional materials, such as brochures, blogs, and marketing copy, are current
• Ensuring digital price lists are current
• Ensuring social media information is accurate
• Scheduling meetings
• Managing customer orders and DCA's online shop
• Developing and enacting sales strategies with the Head of Marketing
• Providing excellent customer service
• Assisting with market research
