The Workers Compensation, Safety and Wellbeing team within People leads and implements the Department’s wellbeing programs, safety approach and handles all workers compensation and non-compensable recover at work matters.
Provide direction, support and day-to-day management for a team of injury management officers to facilitate injury and workers compensation claims in line with DCJ policies, procedures and guidelines.
There is an emphasis on interventions that will support recover at work options within the first 3-6 months of injury. Strategies are to developed for claims that reduce risk and intervene early to reduce the impact of high severity claims on the individual.
Qualifications or equivalent knowledge, skills and experience working injury management, rehabilitation or workers compensation insurance
