There is a rare opportunity to join our committed Fundraising & Philanthropy team and play a pivotal role in driving MacKillop’s mission forward by managing and growing our fundraising program.

The role

The Fundraising Lead is a pivotal role in this team, reporting to the Head of Fundraising and Philanthropy, and managing a team of two.
You will develop multi-channel fundraising campaigns, build and maintain donor relationships, manage external supplier and agency relationships and implement data-driven strategies for donor acquisition and retention.

The role’s responsibilities include the following:

• Inspirational team leadership
• Exceptional stakeholder engagement skills both internally and externally
• End to end Direct Mail campaign management
• Oversee reporting and analytics of campaigns
• Drive growth through multi-channel fundraising
• Budget management
• Content planning and oversight of creative development

Skills and experience

To be successful in this role of Fundraising Lead, you will have the following skills and experience:

• Demonstrated experience managing multi-channel fundraising campaigns to drive acquisition, growth and retention
• A proven track record managing Direct Mail campaigns and Regular Giving programs
• People leadership experience
• Significant experience working in direct marketing (preferably in not-for-profit or similar fields) with a focus on achieving performance targets
• A passion for working in community services
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
• A strategic attitude and approach to growth and continuous improvement
