As the Ranger in Charge you will manage the day-to-day operations of the Maria Island/Triabunna Field Centre. You will support and develop the skills and potential of your team and contribute to progression of the regional business plan and achievement of strategic goals.
The Ranger in Charge is responsible for a small team of dedicated and highly competent individuals who focus on the management of a diverse range of reserves in the region. This area ranges from Swansea to Marion Bay, Whiteford to Nugent.
You will work with a range of stakeholders and be embedded into the community, overseeing the management of coastal, off-shore island, forested and marine reserves, including Maria Island National Park and the Darlington Convict World Heritage Area.

This region features awe-inspiring natural beauty including a World Heritage listed Convict Site, a range of native species including threatened wildlife, unique cultural heritage, pristine beaches, and clear water supporting marine reserves teeming with biodiversity.
