The Team

Business Partners work in the Culture, Talent and Wellbeing area of People and Culture.

They are a collaborative, capable and supportive team who work with our Chief Executives, Executive teams and other senior leaders to meet their service priorities and assist in driving continuous improvement across our Health services.

This role currently supports Hospitals and Primary Care in the South, incorporating the Royal Hobart Hospital and Southern health facilities. A significant portfolio for you to carve your own approach in building connections and establishing relationships, influencing performance outcomes, and making a real difference for all who work here, with a direct link to the quality of services provided in Tasmania.

You will need:

You’ll need to bring your capability as an established professional, with significant stakeholder and change management skills in your toolbox to advise and develop people-related strategies.

You’ll draw on your experience to provide people-related solutions based on evidence and analysis of workforce data.

You’ll need to build rapport, see different perspectives, establish and maintain productive relationships at senior levels of our organisation.

Business Partnering is being established as a model by People and Culture across Health. We are in an embedding phase as we continue to implement change. You’ll be a key part of the team shaping and integrating this type of service delivery as part of continuous system improvement.

Details of appointment

Permanent, full-time, day worker position, working 76 hours per fortnight, commencing as soon as possible.

*notwithstanding hours to be negotiated with the successful applicant.

Applicants should note that, for a period of twelve months from the date of publication, this selection process may be used to fill subsequent or similar full time, part time, and casual vacancies.

Salary: $128,102 to $134,832 per annum. Our Employer 11.5% superannuation contribution is on top of this amount.

  • Salary range is in accordance with Public Sector Unions Wages Agreement 2022
