Detour House Inc provides accommodation and care to women and girls in Sydney’s inner-west through two services: Detour House and The Girls Refuge. Through these services, Detour House Inc provides a trauma-informed safe place to stay and gain greater stability in their lives. Our services are specialist homelessness services, focused on reducing the incidence of homelessness experienced by women and girls.

We are currently hiring for the below roles at The Girls Refuge;

The Girls Refuge- Case Manager- 35 hrs per week

The full-time Case Manager role will focus on improving the quality of life for young people accessing services at The Girls Refuge (TGR) by providing quality case management to increases opportunities for clients’ education, employment, wellbeing and housing.

The Girls Refuge- Youth Worker – casual

Casual youth workers are employed to supervise and support girls staying at our short-term refuge. Youth Workers support the case managers to progress case plans, deliver programs and activities and provide trauma-informed care.
