About the role

The Corporate Governance Coordinator will play a pivotal role in managing the internal assurance and corporate governance systems function and associated actions across Dhelkaya Health.

Dhelkaya Health is required to meet a broad range of mandated compliance requirements as well as manage a wide array of day-to-day operational processes. Coordination of internal compliance requirements and high-level administrative tasks are essential to ensure oversight of corporate governance requirements.

The Corporate Governance Coordinator will play a pivotal role in supporting executive management and the Board of Directors to lead a compliance culture in all areas of the organisation’s operations.

About you

  • Relevant tertiary qualification and/or experience in working in organisational governance
  • Experience in working in a health service, government or not for profit environment (desirable)
  • Excellent interpersonal and relationship management skills, with a proven ability to collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders
  • Excellent communication skills including the ability to develop reports, briefing papers, and other documents accurately and in short time frames
  • Demonstrated experience in interpreting legislation/regulations, policies, procedures and guidelines;
  • Practical knowledge and experience in internal audit
  • Project management experience
  • Sound problem-solving skills and demonstrated attention to detail
  • Effective planning skills, including the ability to prioritise workload and manage competing demands
  • Ability to exercise discretion and maintain a high level of confidentiality at all times, particularly when exposed to personal and/or sensitive information.
