We are looking for a commercially driven DER Solutions Specialist to join our dynamic team. This role will support the growth of VPP operations, enabling Markets to provide more tailored energy solutions to clients and improve Diamond Energy control logic. This role provides a unique opportunity to learn the ins and outs of the renewable energy market, whilst providing exceptional customer service to our clients and ensuring their satisfaction with our services.

As a DER Solutions Specialist with Diamond Energy, you will be responsible for:

• Increasing markets VPP and generation operations, and ability to track performance
• Onboarding new VPPs
• Developing Diamond's internal AI system
• Implementation of internal AI bidding tool
• Commissioning of hardware controllers
• Analysis of VPP performance
• Monitoring and troubleshooting of renewable generators
• Improving our generation control Logic

You will be successful in the role if you possess:

• Understanding the basics of Energy Industry value chain
• Engineering / Science or IT equivalent degree
• Excellent verbal and written communications skills and active listening skills.
• Process discipline and problem solving skills
• Numerical competency
• Ability to multi-task and follow through on commitments
• Ability to work as part of a close-knit team in a dynamic and growing business with a strong interest in renewable energy
