Dietitians Australia is the peak body of dietetic and nutrition professionals, representing more than 8,000 members.

The Dietitian and Nutritionist Regulatory Council (DNRC) is an independent Council reporting to the Dietitian Australia Board on matters relating to the accreditation of dietetic education programs outlined in the Terms of Reference - Dietitian and Nutritionist Regulation Council Terms of Reference.

The Council is seeking representation from two external accreditation experts to join ten other members for a three-year term. This role will involve sitting on a minimum of two accreditation review teams annually. Sitting fees and travel expenses will be covered.

Selection Criteria

1. Significant experience in education, with an in-depth understanding of educational principles and competency-based assessment
2. Strong analytical skills, with the ability to assess complex information, identify underlying issues
3. Proven ability to effectively collaborate with diverse team fostering an environment of mutual respect.
4. Experience in accreditation assessment processes.
5. Post graduate qualifications in higher education or health professional education.
6. AHPRA registered health professional
