About the role

The New Memberships Manager plays a key role in the overall success of the Member Relations Team, ensuring that DCA cultivates and converts a valuable prospect pool of member organisations.

The New Memberships Manager will focus on inspiring organisations to join DCA so they can benefit from the research, resources, and services that guide our members toward creating more diverse and inclusive workplaces.

Selection Criteria

We are seeking a new team member who is keen to contribute to the success of DCA’s purpose of advancing diversity and inclusion in Australian workplaces.

Key Skills

  • Advanced client service and relationship-building skills, able to establish and nurture connections effectively.
  • Excellent communication skills, capable of presenting and articulating services and benefits with clarity and persuasiveness.
  • Demonstrated initiative for identifying growth areas and new business opportunities.
  • Exhibits a consultative approach, enjoying the process of understanding and meeting client needs.
  • Skilled in engaging with diverse groups of people, both in-person and virtually, across various events and platforms.

Desirable skills

  • Experience with customer acquisition strategies including digital marketing campaigns.
  • Experience using CRM to stay organised, on track, and maintain the best quality data.
  • Understanding of D&I, with a keen interest in building knowledge in this area.
  • Exposure to membership and/or partnership environments.
