Statewide rehabilitation services includes innovative, evidence-based clinical assessments and interventions for children and young people to support their rehabilitation and reintegration with caregivers, education and other related support systems in the community.
As a statewide model, rehabilitation services aim to provide continuity of care to young people as they move from community into custody.
In this role, you will deliver evidence-based clinical assessments and targeted criminogenic and non-criminogenic programs on an individual or group basis to children and young people in community and in custody.
You will also provide specialist clinical advice to case managers, behaviour support specialists, youth justice workers and our extended community and custodial operations staff to create best practise outcomes. This includes written advice in the form of completing comprehensive case notes, treatment plans and risk assessment reports for internal and external stakeholders.
You will undertake research and analysis in a specialist clinical portfolio area for input into recommendations to senior staff and provide feedback to improve overall practice and responsiveness.
To be successful in the role, you will have knowledge of key issues impacting youth justice and a minimum of two years' experience working directly with children and young people.

This role will require travel to community based Youth Justice office locations and the Cherry Creek Youth Justice Precinct and Parkville Youth Justice Precinct.
