What you will do

As an occupational therapist at Western Plains, you will be part of a small, multidisciplinary team serving the people in our care with disabilities and complex needs.

You will focus on improving daily living skills, emotional regulation and social engagement.

You will:

• Assess and develop individualised occupational therapy plans to enhance functional skills and independence.
• Collaborate with other professionals to deliver coordinated care and intervention.
• Help create a therapeutic environment that encourages participation and skill development.
• Assist people in our care in preparing for transition by building daily living and coping skills.
• Contribute to service improvements and best practices in disability and rehabilitation care.
