As a Senior Residential Care Worker, you will be responsible for responsible for:

  • Coordinating assessment and residential plans for assigned children and young people,
  • Supervising Residential Care Workers in all matters impacting on the therapeutic care of children and young people,
  • Providing a high standard of therapeutic care consistent with the program objectives,
  • Completing administrative duties including recording, computer data entry and preparation of reports.

Conditions

Prospective applicants must

  • Work a rotating roster, including weekends and evenings.
  • Successfully pass a satisfactory medical and functional capacity examination based on the physical and psychological demands of the role.
  • Obtain a satisfactory Working with Children Check
  • Hold a Current accredited certificate in ‘Provide First Aid’
  • Possess a current Western Australian 'C' or 'C-A' Class Driver’s Licence or equivalent, and have the ability to travel in response to organisational needs.
