Founded in 2018, Doctors For Nutrition (DFN) is an independent health-promotion charity working to equip healthcare practitioners, institutions and the general public with evidence-based information and education on optimum human nutrition.
With medical and dietetic practitioner ambassadors across Australia, New Zealand and globally, our mission is to inspire the healthcare sector, policymakers and society at large to adopt whole food plant-based nutrition as a powerful tool in disease prevention and care.
Our vision is a world free from preventable disease so that everyone can thrive and live to their full potential.

DFN is working for a future where whole food plant-based nutrition is widely used in disease prevention and care. As we continue to grow our influence, we are looking for an Education Lead to develop two educational courses targeted at the general public within a 9 month period.
On completion of the two courses, the view will be to extend the role to an ongoing position (pending funding) to continue to grow and underpin DFN’s library of resources targeted at healthcare practitioners and the general public to successfully support the delivery of DFN’s strategy.
DFN is committed to supporting the successful candidate to develop and thrive within this role through the strong support of the CEO, our Board, Advisory Council and skilled and passionate staff.
Acknowledging that this opening is fixed-term with a view to extension, it offers an exciting challenge to underpin DFN’s educational resources and advocacy activities. Take a leap of faith with us to grow the organisation and the role, building on your impressive portfolio of skills and experience to create a truly meaningful impact.
