The role

We are looking for an experienced and enthusiastic Marketing and Communications Coordinator, who wants a rewarding role in digital communications to help us develop our online presence and expand our reach to NFP’s. Reporting to the CEO, this position will see you work closely with our sales and consulting teams to increase our exposure online. You will support Dog and Bone’s internal and external communications through content creation such as articles, newsletters and case studies, and coordinating social media activities. You will be an essential part of such communications, sharing our success stories and promoting our brand.

About you

You share a similar philosophy to our own and have at least three years' experience in a marketing or digital communications role in a B2B environment. You have creative flair and a great eye for detail in written, visual and video formats. You are a flexible and adaptable individual, with advanced organisational skills who thrives to work autonomously and can also recognise when to collaborate or seek guidance.

Key responsibilities

  • Lead our digital marketing: manage and update our website, social media channels and create and send out EDMs to promote the good work we’re doing
  • Develop and implement a communications strategy: work with different teams to develop a communications plan that ensures we are front of mind for potential clients while also complimenting existing strategies
  • Digital content planning: drive planning activities with well-written and engaging content, sharing client stories, white papers, videos, articles and more to promote Dog and Bone’s brand
  • Manage and Improve: regularly review our marketing analytics and adjust strategies accordingly to maximise our brand exposure
  • Events: collaborate with the Sales and Operations teams to coordinate events and campaigns with clients and staff
  • Dog and Bone branded material: research, order and maintain branded stationery and gifts

Key selection criteria

  • A minimum of three years’ experience in a marketing and digital content role, preferably B2B services
  • A passion for supporting the NFP sector
  • A great work ethic involving a mixture of efficiency, accuracy, and a positive, can-do attitude
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills and an eye for detail
  • Proven experience in the development of strategic communications plans, content creation for various media platforms (print, web, social, video), and online content management
  • A strong ability to work within visual brand guidelines, and experienced using PowerPoint, Adobe Suite
  • Ability to understand technical concepts and translate information into visuals (e.g. graphs and charts)
  • Ability to work independently and manage time and priorities effectively but also be part of a team
  • Prior experience working in the tech industry or not-for-profit sector would be an advantage (but not necessary)
