About you

We are looking for a person with drive and commitment, who shares our values and seeks a rewarding role that will contribute to the growth and development of our telecommunications management service. You value clarity of thought, communication, and process, and focus on outcomes. You demonstrate advanced organisational and communications skills to ensure appropriate delivery in a timely and succinct manner. There is potential to expand the role in-line with our business growth.

You may have come from an existing telco service desk or device management role or be considering moving from a telco provider to a consulting role. Your background will include working knowledge and understanding of ICT Infrastructure, mobile device management, mobility solutions, and telephony systems.

About the role

You will be an integral part of the telco management team, responsible for the generation and delivery of services and projects to our client base, and for contributing for contributing technical support and knowledge to other teams within Dog and Bone.

In this role, your key responsibilities will be:

  • Troubleshooting & resolving client account and service issues
  • Liaise with clients on projects and follow up matters
  • Procurement of services and hardware for clients
  • Perform auditing and analysis on billing data using in-house tools and processes
  • Preparing monthly auditing reports for clients
  • Undertake project tasks (e.g. data collation, meeting notes) as directed by project lead
  • Support inter-departmental project/service deliverables (e.g. RFP analysis, contract implementation, etc.)
  • Coordinate and manage the implementation of project works (e.g., Site Relocations).

Key selection criteria

You have a combination of:

  • Previous experience in an telecommunications service desk with/or technical skills in the following domains:
    • Mobility (i.e. Mobile Fleet Management/Mobile Device Management)
    • Infrastructure and network services
  • Excellent written and spoken communication skills, and the ability to liaise with clients, vendors, and your peers with a focus on generating positive outcomes.
  • Strong Microsoft Excel and Word skills and can utilise these tools to analyse and deliver meaningful reports and data.
  • Understanding of a broad range of telecommunication technologies and services that support an organisation’s strategies and workforce, and how they work together to deliver value to an organisation,
  • Has the ability to work independently with light supervision where appropriate, and to work collaboratively as part of a team where required.
  • A passion for supporting the NFP sector.

Also highly regarded:

  • IT/Information Systems or similar tertiary qualification or relevant professional learning and development.
  • Experience in procurement processes for telco solutions
  • Capability or experience with any of the following: project management, data analysis, technology service tendering (RFP processes), contract and service delivery evaluation, infrastructure delivery (on-premises, co-lo, virtualisation, IaaS), Microsoft server and cloud offerings, networking (MPLS and SD-WAN), desktop and application delivery, unified communications solutions or mobile computing
