  • The Public Trustee is establishing a talent pool for Trust Officers for fixed term, full time vacancies available for 12 months, with the possibility of extension and/or permanency.

You will receive 12 weeks training and development to equip you with the skills needed to case manage a portfolio of clients under financial administration orders and management of trust orders.

ABOUT THE ROLE

The Public Trustee offers independent, professional trustee and asset management services to the Western Australian community. These include Will and Enduring Power of Attorney drafting, deceased estate administration, and personal trustee and administration services.

Trust Services play an inaugural role in managing the financial affairs of people who have been deemed legally incapable of doing so themselves.

The role of the Trust Officer will offer support the Trust Managers in providing ongoing financial security.

We are seeking caring, empathetic people who have a mature outlook and life skills, strong communication skills, teamwork and problem solving skills and the ability to work with clients with impaired capacity for financial management and decision making.

Pool Recruitment

This pool will be open for a period of 12 months from the day after the breach of standard claim period closes. Permanent, fixed term and full time appointments may be offered as vacancies arise; however, an appointment is not guaranteed.

The Department of Justice uses recruitment pools to build a bank of talent for future opportunities. Applicants found suitable in this pool, may be considered for subsequent, similar vacancies at similar locations, with the Department of Justice for the duration of the pool.
