The Department of Planning, Lands and Heritage (DPLH) is responsible for planning and managing land and heritage for all West Australians – now and into the future.

We are seeking to fill a mix of immediate opportunities within the Aboriginal heritage business areas of our Heritage and Property Services division. There are opportunities for both permanent and fixed term employment in Perth and various regional centres.
These positions play a key role in the management of Aboriginal heritage in Western Australia. Some roles directly contribute to the development of policies, legislation and other frameworks that help the Department to undertake its activities and deliver optimal outcomes for Government; and others directly engage with Traditional Owners to improve the management of Aboriginal heritage across Western Australia.

This is a pool recruitment process for permanent, fixed term, full-time and part-time opportunities. Suitable applicants will be placed in a Pool from which appointments may be made for similar vacancies for a period of 24 months.
To be successful in this process, you will need to demonstrate the skills and attributes outlined in the attached ‘Roles and skills outline’ for each level. You may nominate more than one level in your application.
