Inclusive Rainbow Voices has an exciting opportunity for a Policy and Projects Lead to join our team!
We are looking for a confident communicator with policy experience and a strong understanding of LGBTIQA+ disabled identities, issues and communities.
IRV is a young organisation, and this is an exciting opportunity to influence the priorities and direction of Australia’s only organisation working exclusively towards equity and justice for LGBTIQA+ people with disability.
You will report to the CEO and provide policy advice; develop policy positions on key issues; and develop a training package grounded in our values and policies to deliver to external stakeholders.
Ideally, we would love to hear from an experienced leader who has the vision and capacity to take this role to the next level, including seeking ongoing funding and opportunities to build IRV’s capacity to deliver meaningful policy and projects into the future.
The role has no direct reports at this stage, however this is likely to change in future.
This fixed term role is offered at 0.8FTE at SCHADS Level 6, with flexibility. The role is currently funded for 6 months, with the view to seek further funding for continuation.
