Dymocks Children's Charities (DCC) is an Australia – wide charity, established in 2000, providing brand new books of choice to pre-primary and primary school age children in priority locations. Our mission is to promote a love of reading and improve literacy outcomes for all Australian children.

We provide literacy support programs and work with teachers, carers, and community centres to provide an environment where the benefits of reading are clear and there are the tools available to help more kids read.

The role – Administration Assistant

This is a volunteering opportunity for a passionate and organised individual to join our charity!

Reporting to the Programs Team, you will primarily be responsible for:

  • Assisting in invoice processing
  • Entering data using Microsoft Excel

You will be based in our office on George Street, Sydney

The successful applicant

  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office programs in particular Microsoft Excel
  • A 'can-do' attitude with strong attention to detail
  • Must be available on Monday or Wednesday, 3-4 hours per week
