About the Role

We are looking for a passionate person with a lived experience of supporting someone with personality disorder to contribute to the peer support, education, training and organisational development aspects of Spectrum's work and improve the outcomes of those accessing our service.

To be successful in this role you should possess:

• Lived experience of supporting someone with a diagnosis of personality disorder
• Lived experience of supporting someone to access public mental health and emergency services
• Interest in supporting others caring for someone with personality disorder in their recovery
• Ability to advocate for carer inclusion in the treatment planning for people with personality disorder, where appropriate
• Willingness to work collaboratively with consumer consultants and clinical & leadership staff towards continuously improving outcomes for people with personality disorder
• Willingness to contribute from your personal lived experience perspective, and hold in mind differing perspectives of other people with lived experience
