The Marketing and Communications Team plays a vital role in enabling and supporting the ECMS brand, connecting audiences to our purpose, and driving engagement with families, employees, and stakeholders.
We are passionate about ensuring equitable access to education for all families and are seeking an Enrolment Sales Officer to drive access to free kinder, particularly in underrepresented and vulnerable communities.
This role serves as the primary liaison between families and the enrolments team. You will have specific enrolment targets and will need to build relationships with diverse community groups, parenting organisations, and local councils, whilst promoting ECMS services. In order to address barriers to enrolment and to provide support across the enrolment process from start to finish, you will be actively engaging with families, particularly those from vulnerable or underrepresented groups.
This role is field-based and will require regular travel to meet with stakeholders and families. This is a perfect opportunity for a community engagement or enrolments officer with an understanding of the customer journey and successful track record of working to targets.

- Build and nurture relationships with families, councils, and community groups, with a focus on vulnerable and underrepresented communities. You are compassionate, culturally sensitive, focused, and able to connect with others.
- Provide compassionate and informative support throughout the enrolment process for communities with a diverse range of needs.You know the difference a great experience can make.
- Promote ECMS services and resources to encourage equitable access to early childhood education. You enjoy helping people get access to opportunities and services they need.
- Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders to align strategies and ensure a consistent family experience.You take pride in developing strong partnerships.
We’re looking for someone who brings:
- Demonstrated experience in community engagement, outreach, or enrolments.
- Demonstrated experience meeting sales/KPI targets
- Demonstrated experience working in a not-for-profit or public service.
- The ability to work autonomously, within a team, and manage your workload efficiently.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with a proven ability to work with diverse communities, including refugee and underprivileged families.
- Experience with CRM platforms (e.g., HubSpot).
- A valid Working with Children Check and a current driver’s license.
- (Desirable) Formal qualifications in Community Development, Social Work, or a related field, along with experience in early childhood education.
