Purpose of the role
As an Implementation Officer, you'll be a key player in coordinating activities across our school implementation team. You'll serve as the main point of contact for schools across Australia, as well as supporting the expansion of monitoring, reporting, and continuous improvement processes.
Using your expertise in implementation science, you'll contribute to developing guidance both internally and externally, helping drive impactful educational change.
Accountabilities:
- Develop and monitor processes for liaising with and supporting activities with schools and systems the team works with across Australia.
- Provide advice and develop implementation communications and coordinate team responses to internal and external requests.
- Assist the Manager, Implementation (Schools) to expand monitoring and reporting processes, and contribute to the ongoing monitoring, evaluation and reporting of implementation projects.
- Contribute to and / or draft the development of implementation materials, guidance and advice to internal and external stakeholders.
- Establish processes that encourage standardised approaches and quality improvement across workstreams, and support team planning and coordination of activities across implementation projects.
- Assist Manager, Implementation (Schools) and the Director, Implementation in maintaining and strengthening a highly productive and collaborative team.
Essential Requirements:
- Tertiary qualification in education, public administration or a related field, and/or relevant experience.
Key Knowledge and Experience
- Experience in education, education-related projects and/or working with schools.
- Experience working across complex projects and workstreams, setting up ways of working, initiating process improvements and liaising with diverse stakeholders.
- Knowledge of implementation science, school improvement, professional learning and/or evidence-based practices, or the capacity to learn.
Skills
- Advanced organisational and coordination skills.
- Exceptional interpersonal, communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for translating challenging concepts into compelling and easy to understand language.
