We pursue this by providing high quality, independent technical advisory, design engineering and project delivery services to a wide range of national and international clients that include development banks/organisations, utilities, remote community service organisations, start-ups, investment firms and government.

You will work alongside our dynamic team of more than twenty-five professional engineers, project managers, engagement specialists and data analysts, in both lead and support capacities, to deliver an exciting and challenging suite of projects such as infrastructure, masterplanning and essential services in remote Indigenous communities, off-grid and utility scale renewable energy systems and water rehabilitation projects.

A entry-level engineer (mechanical or environmental) with at least 2 years Australian industry experience, you will share our passion for helping develop regional and remote areas and have a desire to make a difference. With a broad range of project experience, including engineering design and project management, you will work collaboratively with our clients and other team members to bring ideas and projects to life.

Your capabilities will include:

• Assessing the condition of water assets and identifying the contamination risks in regional communities across the Northern Territory.
• Conducting service calculations for proposed sites and engaging with relevant service providers.
• Analysing technical water documents such as bore reports, hydrogeology studies and water quality data.
• Using AutoCAD Civil 3D to develop site masterplans, site service plans and finished floor plan.
• Ensuring that Australian Standards are being met by checking the site road turning circles and easements are adequate.
• Managing the delivery of multiple projects simultaneously.

Essential Selection Criteria:

The successful candidate will have the following minimum qualifications and attributes:

• A bachelor’s degree in mechanical or environmental engineering
• Minimum relevant experience of 2-years full-time or part-time equivalent.
• Experienced in AutoCAD Civil 3D.
• Proficiency in using NR maps and Know Your Bore.
• Demonstrated ability to comprehend and communicate commercial, economic, policy, and technical challenges and opportunities relevant within the renewable energy sector.
• Demonstrated project management capability, including an understanding of project management processes, drivers, related controls and scope management.
• Effective written and verbal communications and interpersonal skills, with an ability to interact with different stakeholders and people of diverse cultures.
