About the ella centre

The purpose of The Ella Centre (The Ella) is to provide a range of community services to meet the needs of people in Sydney’s Inner West, with emphasis on the needs of people who are ageing, people with disabilities, carers, people of non-English speaking backgrounds and those who have a need not acknowledged or met by others within these target groups.

The Ella is a non-profit community organisation operating under the oversight of St David’s Uniting Church. It is registered as a charity with the Australian Charities and Not-for-profits Commission and is an entity within the Synod of the Uniting Church of Australia NSW/ACT.

The Ella has undergone a procurement process for a contemporary, Australian, cloud-based Client Relationship Management and HR information system. A Client Relationship Management System will assist The Ella to manage operations, improve efficiencies and deliver transparency on areas such as participant care, staff activity, human resources and financials.

about the role

We are seeking a an IT Project Manager to bring our high level design to a detailed design with costings in liaison with staff at The Ella and the software provider.

This is Phase 1 of the implementation process and it is anticipated that this would be a 4 - 5 week project.

Project management skills for a small- medium not for profit enterprise are required.
