Cairns Regional Domestic Violence Service Inc. (CRDVS) aims to use its specialist knowledge and skills to prevent domestic and family violence in the community and empower those affected by it.

We now have a rewarding opportunity available for a Domestic Violence Worker to join our team from our Mossman office on a full-time basis.
As our next Domestic Violence Worker, you will have the rewarding opportunity to provide crisis intervention to clients accessing support for family and domestic violence. This will be through conducting intake, assessment, crisis counselling, and assisting with Domestic Violence Order applications. Your work will ensure that victim-survivors of family violence are able to receive timely and safety-enhancing services.

To be considered for this role, you’ll ideally have a tertiary qualification in Social Work, Psychology, Counselling, or similar, but we are open to considering candidates who are working towards completing these qualifications.
