Empowered Minds Australia (EMA) is a client-centred allied health and mental health clinic based in Truganina, VIC. We provide high-quality, evidence-informed services to children, adolescents, and families across Melbourne’s west. The Role
This is a full-time (9:00am – 5:00pm, Monday to Friday), in-clinic position. You will be part of a supportive clinical team delivering high-impact services to clients with a range of needs, including:
- Children with speech and language delays
- Neurodiverse children and adolescents (e.g., autism, ADHD)
- Clients requiring feeding and mealtime support
- Children with developmental delays or learning difficulties
- Clients with NDIS plans, private referrals, and Medicare support
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality, individualised speech and language therapy
- Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop evidence-based therapy plans
- Collaborate closely with parents, caregivers, educators, and other professionals
- Contribute to multidisciplinary care planning and joint sessions where appropriate
- Prepare timely, professional reports in alignment with NDIS and organisational standards
- Engage in regular clinical supervision, team meetings, and continuous professional development

About You
- Tertiary qualification in Speech Pathology
- Current membership with Speech Pathology Australia (SPA)
- Demonstrated experience working with children and/or neurodiverse clients
- Strong clinical reasoning and written communication skills
- A collaborative, client-focused mindset with a passion for holistic care
- Familiarity with the NDIS is highly regarded
Salary
Salary & Benefits
- $85,000 – $100,000 per annum + super, based on experience and qualifications
