The Role:

We have an opportunity for an Enterprise Architect to join our ICT Planning and Governance team for an immediate start on a 12-month fixed term contract. Reporting to the ICT Planning and Governance Manager, you will play a pivotal role in aligning Endeavour Foundation’s strategic objectives with our business processes, structures and IT systems through a whole of business technology review by creating an integrated technology road-map in support of the newly revised business strategy.

Duties include:

  • Providing high level strategic advice for future investment in ICT systems, applications and processes to support business objectives.
  • Design enterprise-level technical solutions that meet current and future needs and support the Endeavour Foundation Strategy.
  • Translate business practices and processes into architectures to enable delivery of appropriate solutions.
  • Create a whole of Business ICT technology road-map to guide our future technology investments and initiatives.
  • Undertake high level research, horizon scanning and analysis to identify and evaluate emerging technologies and make recommendations on the adoption of new technologies or methodologies.
  • Align architecture strategy with business goals to effectively support the business strategy.
  • Work on complex projects that require in-depth knowledge across multiple specialised architecture domains.
  • Review and/or analyses and develops architectural requirements as needed for Endeavour Foundation.
  • Assess and recommend ICT solutions that align with the enterprise architecture and meet Business needs.
  • Ensure that new and existing systems integrate seamlessly and operate effectively together.
  • Promote Enterprise Architecture process, outcomes, and results to Endeavour Foundation and senior leadership.
  • Ensure the conceptual completeness of technical
  • Advise on options, risks, and costs versus benefits, system impacts, and technology priorities.
  • Work with Business Architect, Data Architect and Solution Architect to understand business requirements.
  • Communicate architecture decisions, plans, goals, and strategies to various stakeholders, including technical and non-technical audiences.

All about you:

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems, computer engineering, system analysis or a related field
  • TOGAF certifications highly desirable
  • Five+ years of IT and business/industry work experience including architecture design and deployment, systems lifecycle management, and infrastructure planning and operations
  • In-depth knowledge of enterprise architecture frameworks, methodologies and business re- engineering principles and processes.
  • Experience working in cross-functional teams or projects and influencing senior level management and key stakeholders.
  • Exposure to multiple, diverse technologies and processing environments
