The Organisation

Endometriosis Australia is a nationally accredited charity committed to raising awareness, funding research, and educating the public about endometriosis. Established 2012, Endometriosis Australia has emerged as a peak body in advocating for education, research and fundraising. EA exists to help people affected by endometriosis and our goal is to improve the understanding and awareness of the disease.

Position Overview:

The Digital Marketing & Social Media Manager will lead the development and execution of digital marketing strategies, create content, manage campaigns, optimise our website, and liaise with influencers—while driving donations and volunteer participation.  This role requires a balance of creative, strategic, and technical skills to effectively manage the organisation’s digital presence across websites, social media platforms, email campaigns, and digital fundraising efforts.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead digital strategy to increase awareness and drive donations/volunteer sign-ups.
• Manage and create content for social media, including copywriting and scheduling posts.
• Collaborate with influencers and advocates to amplify our message.
• Create content for social media campaigns and email marketing.
• Oversee basic website content updates, implementing SEO best practices.
• Track, analyse, and optimise campaign performance across platforms.

Qualifications:

• 2+ years of experience in digital marketing and social media management.
• Strong social media copywriting skills and content creation.
• Proficiency in CMS (e.g., WordPress), SEO, and email marketing tools.
• Passion for not-for-profit work and driving digital engagement.

Desirable:

• Experience in the non-profit sector, particularly in health advocacy.
• Familiarity with endometriosis or related health issues.
