<h3>The Organisation</h3>
<p>Endometriosis Australia is a nationally accredited charity committed to raising awareness, funding research, and educating the public about endometriosis. Established in 2012, Endometriosis Australia has emerged as a peak body in advocating for education, research and fundraising. Our goal is to improve the understanding and awareness of endometriosis to help those affected by the disease.</p>
<h3>Position Overview</h3>
<p>The Fundraising and Philanthropy Manager will play a key role in driving Endometriosis Australia&rsquo;s fundraising efforts. This position is responsible for driving the growth and sustainability of fundraising income, with a focus on major giving, corporate partnerships, community fundraising and donor engagement. Together with the General Manager, this role will plan, develop and execute fundraising activity to support Endometriosis Australia&rsquo;s mission and goals, ensuring long term sustainability and impact.</p>
<h3>Key Responsibilities</h3>
<p><strong>Fundraising Planning, Execution and Collaboration:</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Develop and execute annual fundraising plan with a focus on major gifts, corporate partnerships and mass fundraising.</li>
<li>Manage supplier relationships to coordinate and deliver key mass fundraising campaigns throughout the year.</li>
<li>Work closely with CEO, Board of Directors, and Marketing and Fundraising Committee to identify and cultivate new donor prospects.</li>
</ul>
<p><strong>Fundraising Campaigns:</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Coordinate the development, planning, and execution of fundraising campaigns, including annual appeals, community fundraising initiatives, content and case study development and digital fundraising.</li>
<li>Work with community groups to coordinate logistics for fundraising events and ensure they are executed successfully.</li>
<li>Collaborate with the broader team to develop compelling fundraising materials and donor communications.</li>
</ul>
<p><strong>Business Development and Relationship Management:</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Identify and pursue new opportunities that align with Endometriosis Australia strategic priorities.</li>
<li>Develop proposals and reporting requirements working collaboratively with the internal team to deliver outcomes.</li>
<li>Cultivate and manage relationships with individual donors, philanthropic and corporate partners, and foundations.</li>
<li>Plan, develop and execute donor stewardship activities, including thank-you calls, acknowledgment letters, and impact reports.</li>
<li>Maintain accurate donor records and ensure timely follow-up and communication.</li>
</ul>
<p><strong>Data Management &amp; Reporting:</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Manage the annual fundraising budget including fundraising targets and expenditure. .</li>
<li>Monitor fundraising income, report on performance, and provide regular updates to the General Manager on progress and challenges.</li>
<li>Maintain a detailed understanding of fundraising legislation and guidelines within Australia.</li>
<li>Maintain and update the donor database with accurate and detailed information on donors, donations, and interactions.</li>
<li>Generate regular reports on fundraising progress, donor engagement, and campaign performance.</li>
<li>Analyse fundraising data to identify trends and opportunities for growth.</li>
</ul>
<p><strong>Collaboration &amp; Team Support:</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Work closely with broader team ensure alignment between fundraising goals and mission needs and activities.</li>
<li>Provide administrative support to the broader team as needed, including scheduling meetings, managing calendars, and preparing materials.</li>
<li>Participate in team meetings and contribute to strategic planning discussions.</li>
</ul>
<h3>Qualifications</h3>
<ul>
<li>Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in marketing, communications, or a related field.</li>
<li>2+ years of experience in fundraising, donor relations, or philanthropy, preferably within the NFP sector</li>
<li>Proven ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.</li>
<li>Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with diverse stakeholders.</li>
<li>Experience with donor management software (e.g., Raisley, or similar) and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.</li>
<li>Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.</li>
<li>Knowledge of fundraising best practices and trends, with a passion for nonprofit work.</li>
<li>Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.</li>
<li>Commitment to the mission of Endometriosis Australia and a desire to make a meaningful impact.</li>
</ul>
<p><strong>Desirable:</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Experience working with agency suppliers</li>
<li>Familiarity with digital fundraising platforms and tools.</li>
<li>Knowledge of endometriosis or women&rsquo;s health issues.</li>
<li>CRM experience ie salesforce, hubspot</li>
</ul>
