Energetics

Concerned about climate change? Interested in working with experts who advise ASX100 to drive emissions reductions and support clean energy?

Energetics is Australia’s most trusted climate and energy risk management consultancy. We are growing and are looking for someone who can support our consultants with the preparation of winning proposals that speak to the importance of climate action and help prospective clients see the opportunities that can be created in a net zero future.

As Energetics’ Business Development Specialist, you will join a deeply committed group of professionals who are making a difference. To be successful you will need the ability to liaise with our experts to help them synthesise information, develop solutions and transform technical and strategic approaches into succinct, compelling pitch documents. You’ll have responsibility for managing the bid process as well as improving business processes. You’ll leverage your writing abilities and design thinking skills, ability to organise and address details, and enjoy the challenge of a fast paced, deadline driven work environment. Your role will also support knowledge management and improve sales processes – from generating case studies to creating marketing materials and supporting core bid functions such as employee CV management and business development training.

This is a great position which will enable you to progress your career in climate change advisory. You’ll be on an accelerated learning curve – learning all aspects of decarbonisation including net zero pathways, innovative low emissions technologies, reporting frameworks, and large-scale renewable energy purchasing. As Energetics is unique in its relationship with Australia’s climate science community, you will also learn about the physical side of climate risk and where we need to adapt and build resilience.

This is an amazing opportunity to have day-to-day interaction with some of Australia’s thought leaders in climate change business advisory.
