Engender Equality is a dynamic and professional specialist family violence service.
In partnership with SASS and Laurel House, Engender Equality will deliver the ‘Family, Domestic and Sexual Violence Pilot - Service Integrators Initiative’. This pilot will improve the capacity of General Practices and Aboriginal Medical Services to recognise and respond to family violence, sexual violence and child sexual abuse.
The Regional Service Integrators will work with the Manager and Operations Coordinator, and other Regional Service Integrators (including those in partner organisations), to develop relationships with General Practices and Aboriginal Medical Services offering a phone and web-based family and sexual violence referral support service and provide capacity building activities with General Practices/ Aboriginal Medical Services about family and sexual violence.
The pilot is supported by funding from Primary Health Tasmania (Tasmania PHN) through the Australian Government’s Primary Health Networks Program.
