The Role

This is an exciting opportunity to become the most senior leader of the executive team, leading Community Gateway into a new season of Health, Wellness and Care services. The CEO is responsible for the day-to-day management of CG’s overall resources and operations. As the conduit between the board of directors and the executive management team, the CEO implements the strategy approved by the board and ensures that the organisation's structure, processes, business strategies and plans meet the strategic and cultural needs of the organisation.

Key to this role will be building and maintaining strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

The CEO will have outstanding personal attributes including personal drive and integrity, highly developed written and verbal communication, and consultation skills as well as a sound knowledge of the not-for-profit sector.

The CEO is a relational leader that possess highly developed managerial skills and an ability to respond flexibly and promptly to organisational requirements. The CEO will also have a strong capacity for leading, managing, developing and motivating staff members to achieve business outcomes and to create a shared sense of purpose across the organisation.

Essential for this Role

  • Leadership experience in a highly regulated environment.
  • Proven delivery of high-level customer service/experience.
  • Qualification or extensive experience in business or industry related discipline.
  • A proven history of strong people leadership and culture setting.
  • An exemplary public representative in community networking and organisational partnership engagement.
  • Exceptional skills and proven history in Marketing, Market Analysis & Strategy.
  • Strong understanding of and commitment to work, health and safety and industrial relations requirements.
  • A current Working with Children Check.
  • A current criminal history record check.
  • A current NDIS worker screening check.
