ABOUT THE ROLE

We’re seeking a full-time Clinical Manager to join our Ballarat or Torquay office, with regular travel between Geelong and Ballarat.

The Clinical Manager is responsible for clinical leadership, planning and training at eQuality Support with a focus on staff capacity. The role balances the demands of clinical leadership – assessing and coordinating timely clinical outcomes for clients with other allied health professionals - while leading the development, delivery and assessment of an annual learning and development program.

The role particularly responds to clients with High Intensity Daily Personal Activities (HIDPA) involving complex supports, ensuring the workforce of Disability Support Workers at eQuality Support have the skills and knowledge required of the NDIS Practice Standards.

With the support of allied health specialists, the role achieves clinical outcomes for clients based on collaborative action. Likewise, it ensures the appropriate process, policy, and procedure is in place across the company to standardise good practice.

ON ANY GIVEN DAY YOUR DUTIES WOULD BE:

  • Collaborate with clients and other key stakeholders to appropriately address complex clinical needs.
  • Manage complex health care procedures and policy.
  • Develop an annual training program to strengthen the clinical competence of Disability Support Workers.
  • Provide quality client-centred clinical support using a person-centred approach.
  • Actively participate and contribute to continuous improvement activities by identifying and acting on opportunities for improvement.

YOUR SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE WILL INCLUDE

  • Experience implementing NDIS Practice Standards (desirable).
  • A competent delegator with sound judgement and awareness of their clinical remit and limitations.
  • Excellent leadership skills and ability to motivate a diverse workforce.
  • An effective influencer who works collaboratively to get desired outcomes.
  • Good computer literacy and the confidence to lead the use of client software management applications.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS OF THE ROLE

  • Minimum 5 years of leadership experience in a clinical setting.
  • Current AHPRA Nurse registration.

REQUIRED CHECKS AND CLEARANCES

  • Current Victorian driver’s license.
  • Current Police Check (within 12 months validity).
  • Proof of your full COVID-19 vaccination status.
  • Satisfaction of all requirements for working in Australia.
