We are recruiting for multiple positions to be based in Nambour. We have clients requiring additional female staff to assist them in their Supported Independent Living team. Team members will have the opportunity to work across other Equity Works services. Availability to participate at least 1 sleepover a week is a must for this role. It is essential that applicants have experience working with clients who require assistance with communication, personal care, and mobility. Mealtime and medication support are required for these roles. Award Level 2.4.

Role related tasks:

• Assist to the personal care and daily living needs of people we support.
• Provide opportunities for active participation, connection and contribution for the participants within their home and local community.
• Contribute to a high quality of life alongside people we support.
• Contribute to written documentation as required and within a high standard.

Requirements:

• Experience with clients requiring significant support.
• Willingness to participate in ongoing learning and training.
• Hold and maintain a current unrestricted Queensland motor vehicle license.
• First Aid and CPR Certificate.
• Willing to submit to Criminal History Screening.
