EthicalJobs.com.au is working to change the world, one job at a time.
We bridge the gap between Australians who want to “work for a better world” and the thousands of for-purpose organisations that tirelessly strive to create that better world.
As a successful, for-profit social enterprise and one of Australia’s top job-search sites for the not-for-profit sector and beyond, we support the work of more than9,000 for-purpose organisations around the country, and have a passionate community of 300,000+ unique users visiting the site each month.
We also make regular donations to small organisations that are having a big social or environmental impact across Australia – we’ve donated over $1.9 million since 2009, and we’ve catalysed almost $2.2 million in donations from the community on top of that.
We’ve consistently grown our overall impact for 15 years since we launched in 2009.
You’ll be joining a dedicated, passionate and successful team of 22 people who share a vision of a more equitable, just and sustainable world.
We work partly remotely (2 days/week in the office, 3 days/week remote), but our spacious office in Collingwood has loads of natural light, high ceilings, standing desks, a large outdoor deck for lunch in the sun and drinks after work, and great food and coffee just around the corner.
This is an important role for us, supporting all our team members across the organisation to work effectively together.
It’s a diverse role that will see you working with people across all our teams, implementing our People & Culture activities, keeping our office working well, and taking on sporadic projects as they come up, as well as executing our annual People & Culture strategic plan.
The responsibilities include:
If you like every day at work to be different, this role is for you.
We’re looking for a supremely organised all-rounder to join our passionate, busy and high-performing team – helping to keep our organisation on track.
You’re a “people person” with lots of energy and great communication skills.
You’re exceptionally organised, diligent and solutions-oriented, and you love supporting a broader team.
You’ve got some experience with recruitment, people & culture initiatives, office management, and/or executive support, and you thrive on working in a busy environment and juggling multiple responsibilities at the same time.
Your meticulous attention to detail means that even the smallest things don’t slip through the cracks.
You’re technologically savvy and able to pick up new software and systems easily.
You love ticking things off your to-do list and can be trusted to get stuff done, no matter how big or small the task.
You’re aligned with our values, and enjoy being open with your communication, caring about your colleagues, high-performing and passionate about making an impact.
Finally, you share our vision of a better world and would love the challenge of playing an important role in a growing social enterprise.
