Key Responsibilities
As the HR Officer, your role will include:
- Employee Onboarding: Administer onboarding processes, coordinate orientation programs, and ensure a seamless start for new employees.
- Recruitment Strategy: Collaborate with industry and HR consultants to ensure effective and contemporary recruitment strategies.
- HR Support: Respond to HR-related inquiries, receive employee grievances and provide guidance on personnel policies and procedures to employees and management.
- Workplace Compliance:
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of employment law and compliance requirements.
- Work with HR and Industrial Relations consultants on investigations, disciplinary actions, and workplace harassment complaints, including instances of discrimination and sexual harassment.
- Employee Records Management: Maintain accurate and confidential personnel records.
- Exit Interviews: Conduct exit interviews and recommend corrective actions when necessary.
- Future Workforce Planning: Assist with planning for future staffing needs to ensure organisational success.

- Understanding of relevant employment acts, regulations and Enterprise Agreements.
- Awareness of OHS regulations and compliance.
