Environment Victoria (EV) is building a movement of people across Victoria to create a just society living in harmony with a healthy environment. We are one of Australia’s leading not-for-profit environment groups, with a history of running strategic, people-powered, campaigns that win just solutions to the biggest environmental problems of the day.
Our team of around 29 staff and hundreds of volunteers is nimble, creative and fun. We strive for justice, equity, diversity and inclusion in our work and are committed to building, and supporting, a team that mirrors the rich diversity of the Victorian community in which we work.
You are a motivated and energetic individual with a passion for protecting Victoria's environment and acting on climate change. You excel in organisational and communication skills, thrive in a team environment, and are proficient in multitasking a diverse range of activities. You are also skilled in Microsoft Word and Excel. Experience with Salesforce or similar CRM systems is highly regarded. Your enthusiasm, initiative, and drive are as important as formal qualifications and experience.
In this reception-based, job-share role, you will report to the Office Manager and play a vital role in supporting Environment Victoria's administrative functions. Your responsibilities will include ensuring smooth operations, providing essential office support—especially to the fundraising team—and serving as the first point of contact for supporters, volunteers, and the general public.
Commencing in February and working three days a week (Wednesday – Friday), you will collaborate closely with the Administration Assistant, who covers Monday and Tuesday, to ensure seamless administrative coverage throughout the week.
Remuneration is at EV2, full time equivalent from $66,018 pro-rata to 0.6, plus superannuation and generous leave conditions.
You will be based in Environment Victoria’s office in the award‐winning 60L Green Building in Carlton, Victoria.
