Our opportunity
Our People, Culture & Capability (PCC) team plays a key role in supporting our people to thrive, ensuring they have the tools, guidance, and development opportunities to contribute effectively. We are looking for a People, Culture & Capability Coordinator to be the first point of contact for HR enquiries, supporting the employee lifecycle and contributing to key people-focused initiatives. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys a fast-paced, collaborative HR environment and is looking to expand their HR generalist experience.
Key Accountabilities
- Be the go-to person for HR-related enquiries, providing generalist advice on policies, processes, and systems.
- Support the full employee lifecycle, including recruitment, onboarding, performance & development, policy compliance, and offboarding.
- Manage recruitment activities, from job posting and candidate coordination to interview scheduling and onboarding.
- Draft and process employment contracts, variations, and other employee correspondence.
- Coordinate learning and capability initiatives, ensuring training calendars and compliance requirements are met.
- Support wellbeing & WHS programs, helping to deliver key initiatives that enhance the employee experience.
- Assist with HR systems administration, payroll processing support, and reporting.
- Contribute to PCC projects, policy reviews, and process improvements.
To be successful in this role, you will have the below skills and experience
- Relevant tertiary qualifications and/or experience in a similar role.
- Previous experience providing operational and project support to a People, Culture and Capability function
- Excellent written and communication skills with the ability to build and maintain stakeholder relationships
- Great attention to detail, with strong organisational and time management skills.
- Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in HR systems (experience with ActionHRM is not essential, but desired).
- A collaborative, people-first mindset and a commitment to service excellence.
