Are you passionate about driving meaningful change in the lives of marginalised communities? The Rev. Bill Crews Foundation (BCF) is seeking a dynamic and dedicated 2IC to Head of Programs, officially titled "Assistant to Head of Programs" within BCF, to help us deliver life-changing support through our community, welfare, medical and education initiatives.
BCF is a registered charity with a mission to address the causes and effects of homelessness and poverty. Through food provision, social welfare and education support, we empower individuals to reclaim their dignity and independence.
This is a newly created role, offering an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate starting their career in this field and aspiring to grow into a future leadership position.
In this important role, you will support the Head of Programs in ensuring the effective delivery of our national and international initiatives. You will contribute significantly to operational management, strategic planning, compliance and stakeholder engagement while representing BCF in the absence of the Head of Programs.
The role is full-time (38 hours per week), but we are open to discussing part-time arrangements for the right candidate. Salary is negotiable, based on skills and experience.
Please note that due to the Christmas and New Year period, we will begin contacting shortlisted candidates from mid-January 2025. We appreciate your patience during this time.
For questions or more information about the role, contact Nilou, Head of People and Culture at [email protected] using the subject line: 2IC to Head of Programs enquiry via EthicalJobs.
If you’re ready to make an impact and help drive meaningful change, we’d love to hear from you. Submit your resume and a cover letter detailing your passion and experience.
Please Note: This position is being managed directly by our People and Culture team. While we value the interest of recruitment agencies and external businesses, we are not seeking third-party support for this role at this time.
Bill Crews Charitable Trust and the Exodus Foundation are separate but closely cooperating entities. Together, they deliver services and programs under the Rev. Bill Crews Foundation brand name, working to support those in need.
All Bill Crews Foundation employees are required to have completed at least three (3) COVID-19 vaccinations, including booster doses approved by the Australian Therapeutic Goods Administration (TGA). Proof of COVID-19 vaccination status will be required prior to commencing employment.
Applicants must have the right to work in Australia. The successful candidate will also need to complete a Working With Children Check and a Police Check as part of the employment process.
