The Rev. Bill Crews Foundation is one of Sydney's largest frontline charities and has been operating for 35 years.
Our mission is to provide assistance to address the cause and effect of homelessness and poverty, as well as unemployment, faced by marginalised individuals. We succeed in achieving this through a combination of caring services like food provision, social welfare and education support.
Our Healthcare team operates a full Medical Clinic providing safe, high quality health care services to the needs of marginalised individuals through the dedication of doctors, nurses, dentists, allied health professionals and case workers. The team work hard to ensure we deliver the very best healthcare to individuals and families who are the most needy and disadvantaged in our community.
The GP position is currently being advertised as one of our wonderful GPs will be going on maternity leave from August until January.
We have a need for a GP to provide face to face patient care, clinical diagnosis, investigation, treatment and ongoing management for patients from marginalised backgrounds.
This opportunity is open to volunteers, casual workers, and part-time professionals who want to contribute their expertise and time, four days a week (Tuesday – Friday) to help those in need. You will work as part of a multi-disciplinary medical team and be based in our Ashfield Medical Clinic.
This is paid position unless you wish to offer your services voluntarily.
Your skills and experience will help prevent illnesses and manage symptoms of chronic diseases, and you may just gain more knowledge about health conditions that you may not generally encounter in a traditional healthcare setting.
If you’re looking to work for an organisation that is truly making a difference in the community, one person at a time, then please click APPLY and send through a brief covering letter and your resume.
