Founded in Illawarra-Shoalhaven NSW, we are continuing to grow our multi-disciplined services across the country. We have expanded from 2 to 34 sites across South East Queensland, Northern NSW, Shoalhaven, and the Illawarra.

From 2016 - 2020, our community reach has grown from 1,000 to 71,434 occasions of service per annum.

Our new national headquarters is set at 3,000sqm at Family Services House, Illawarra-Shoalhaven Community Services Hub. This has enabled FSA to provide a community space where clients can be supported with continuous and integrated care from one easily accessible location.

Across service streams, our Employee Satisfaction is at 88% and Client Satisfaction at 97.5%.

About the role

We are currently seeking a Clinical Services Manager to join the team at FSA Psychology and support the implementation and management of newly launched Head to Health services.

In this role you will be developing and overseeing the day-to-day operations of Adult Mental Health services, including the Head to Health ‘Pop Up Clinic’ service. In consultation with the Clinical Lead and Service Manager, this includes developing and maintaining policy and procedure, leading stakeholder engagement, and project management of quality improvement and service development activities. A small client load will be maintained and supervision of other clinicians will be assigned.

Skills and experience

Essential criteria

  • General registration with the Psychology Board of Australia (AHPRA)
  • Current Working with Children Check number and valid Police Check
  • A minimum 5 years' (FTE) clinical experience and demonstrated ability to provide clinical interventions to a diverse range of clients
  • Excellent knowledge of evidence-based and trauma-informed practice
  • Strong interpersonal skills to lead, inspire, support and manage a team of clinicians and undertake proactive liaison with relevant stakeholders
  • High-level organisational skills, including an ability to undertake a range of diverse tasks and manage competing deadlines
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, and problem-solving skills
  • Demonstrated experience working within a multidisciplinary team
  • Demonstrated capacity to implement principles of reflective practice and self-care within a team
  • Demonstrated experience in project management and health service evaluation

Desirable criteria

  • Approved supervisor with the Psychology Board of Australia
  • Experience delivering services via telehealth
  • Proficiency in use of practice management software
  • Current unrestricted Driver's Licence and willingness to travel as part of this role

This position is a fixed-term contract until June 2022 with possibility of extension.
